Samud took on the task of looking after his older brother Kai, dropping out of high school to do so. He also took on the family business - Bic Coffee House. Once friendly and easygoing, Samud now always seems to be on the defensive and is very angry about what happened to Kai. He definitely has a score to settle with the person he thinks is to blame.
He was in a coma, presumed brain dead. Until he woke up. Sadly, although Kai's physical body awoke from the trauma, the real Kai is yet to reappear. Still significantly mentally impaired, Kai hasn't said a word since he woke up. But is it because he can't... or because he doesn't want to?
